Company Requirements

Dancers must be enrolled in the following weekly foundation classes at Thrive Dance Studio from August-May:

• 1 Ballet 
• 1 Jazz
• 1 Tap
• 1 Hip Hop
• 1 Contemporary
• 1 Elective class of choice

Optional Class available and highly encouraged:

• Stretch and Strength
• Lyrical
• Floorwork and Partnering
• Leaps, Turns and Progressions
• Jazz Technique

Weekly company rehearsals will occur Aug- May (Hours depend on the number of pieces your dancer is cast in)

Thrive company members will also be required to train during the months of June-July however number of hours required is based on age/level. 

Thrive dancers will participate in 4 dance conventions per year as set by the company director. Dancers will be required to attend all offered classes at their age/skill level. 

Attendance at any additional conventions is encouraged and students should be registered as a student of Thrive. 

Thrive dancers will compete all group pieces at the 4 dance competitions associated with the conventions they attend. Additionally, they will compete at 1 competition with convention not required.

The company will perform all competition repertoire pieces at the end of the season in a concert style show.
